Our congregation also has a Tenebrae service. And yes, it is emotional. We also went to 8:00 on Easter, but that is the service we normally attend anyway.

I also remember how she used to fool us before we were awake. The only time she didn’t was if we woke up before she came in the room but that wasn’t very often. I was remarking about that same thing on Sunday. Sounds like you got a lot of work done around the house and yard.

She would always get us because we weren’t fully awake enough to remember that it was April Fool’s Day.

We didn’t have snow either. On April Fool’s day my Mom always tried to fool us by telling us that it had snowed. She fooled me more times then not because she was waking me up to get ready for school.

When I had my cough I didn’t feel like writing on my blog either. Re the grandparent breakfast, I guess those biscuits and gravy were not on your diet, or maybe you just used a lot of WW points.

Beth uses the convection a lot but we use the regular microwave the most. The convection part has a heating coil and a fan and blows the hot air around for concise ant heating in the oven. It cooks much faster than a regular oven but because of the smaller size it doesn’t use as much energy or heat up the kitchen as much.
