We are going to go camping this weekend. The weather is supposed to be much cooler than it has been. We almost didn’t get an A site for the weekend. We had a reservation but looked at the site last weekend and didn’t really like it all that well so we switched to another site. Unfortunately, the people that were on the site had a death in the family and had to go to FL and have not yet made it back to move their camper. More unfortunate for them then for us. (Our prayers are with them even though we don’t even know their names.)
FRIDAY
When I called this morning – expecting to have to take a B site – I was told that someone had cancelled and a better site was available. It seems that these people were previously tent campers but had ordered a motor home. The motor home is not going to be delivered until Tuesday. Sure helped us out for the weekend. Can you imagine going from a tent to a motor home?
Ran into some traffic on the way down to the campground so we didn’t get there as soon as I would have liked. And then the camper was not real level (off about 2 inches side to side) so we hooked up to the truck and leveled it. If we had brought the Focus we would have had the campground respot us but since we had the big truck we went ahead and did it ourselves. After we got set up we watched a little TIVO on the computer and then went to bed.
SATURDAY
Got up rather late. Walked up to the lodge and registered and got the schedule for the weekend. Not much going on except for the kids. Went back to the camper and ate breakfast. After breakfast we sat outside. Beth worked on the pool table cover that she hopes to finish this weekend while I worked on cleaning up old programs on the laptop. After the laptop was cleaned up I finished a tutorial program on Microsoft Expression Web. This is the replacement for Microsoft Front Page. I think it is harder to learn but is overall a better program.
SUNDAY
Beth finished up the pool table cover today. All that is left for her to do is to remove some stray threads. Finally done and she is sew 
happy to have it done. I spent the day reading and watching some TIVO. Just plain relaxing. I know it doesn’t sound exciting but who needs excitement.
MONDAY
Happy Labor Day. We took it easy in the morning and then packed up and came home. A really great three day weekend. I spent Monday evening working on the campground web site a little and then on this website some. I’m working on the calendar portion of it. I have some more stuff to add to the campground website but I don’t think I will get to it today.
